We're taking a look at how-to connect your Fortnite account to your Twitch account so you can earn Twitch Drops! What's a Drop? Well, these are rewards given out to people who watch Drop eligible streams. These can be various rewards depending on the game! For Fortnite, these usually are cosmetics like Sprays and Banners. These are generally associated with tournaments, and give you incentive to watch the events unfold on Twitch.

How-to Connect Your Fortnite Account to Twitch

You will need an Epic Games account and a Twitch account for this to work. Once you have that, all you need to do is go to Connect Accounts page on Epic's website.

Click the connect button and then login or accept that connection between your Epic and Twitch account! That's all you need to do to connect the accounts together.

How-to Get Fortnite Twitch Drops

These are only going on some of the time, so you won't always get something for watching a Twitch stream. However, when there's an event going on you can go to certain Twitch streams and look for the "Drops enabled! Watch for a chance to earn loot." alert that shows up on the page.

Make sure you are logged into your Twitch account or you won't receive a reward! The rewards are distributed at random, so you could be watching for a short amount of time and receive one or you might need to watch for a while. If you have no interest in what's going on with the event, you can just leave it streaming while you do something else and still possibly receive the reward!
