Our Fortnite Warm Up & Edit Courses List guide runs through the best options in Creative Mode for getting ready to play the game in Season 11. These courses are great for practicing and getting prepared to head into battle. We've got codes for each of the courses, and we'll be updating this list periodically to add better ones and remove some of the old ones.
With the relatively new Creative mode has come a ton of usable maps that can be played by anyone if they have the right code. Maps are all over the map in what you can do with them. You've got maps for warm up, aim practice, hide and seek, racing, and many more! This mode has added a lot of creativity to the game, and people are finding tons of new ways to get enjoyment out of Fortnite.

How-to Play a Custom Map

Once you load up the game you will be given the three options on what you want to play (Save the World, Battle Royale, and Creative). Click the creative option and then click PLAY and the LAUNCH (don't start a server).
This will take a while to load, so don't think that your client has crashed. Once it has loaded, head to one of the Rifts that is labeled as Featured. Do not go inside of the rift! Get close to it and press and hold the use key.

From here you can either select one of the codes you've added to your queue, or you can paste a code you have at the end of the URL. Click "Select Island" and it will load up the island of choice. You can then run into the rift and it will transport you to it!

Queuing Courses

If you don't want to bother copy and pasting to add a map, you can queue them up by going to the direct link in your web browser. If you are logged into your epic account, it will add the map to your queue which you can access in the same area as you pasted the code. You'll find links to these pages on all of the courses suggested below.

Best Fortnite Warm Up & Edit Courses

Here is our full list of warm up courses that were created in Creative mode. Some options focus more heavily on different things. There's some for editing, shotguns, and general aiming practice.

Candooks 9-in-1 Edit Course

These maps are just getting crazier and crazier as Epic continues to add and refine the Creative side of Fortnite. This course contains 9 different levels of difficulty, so you can be anywhere on the spectrum of skill and find something useful in this map.

Rodey's Edit Training Course

Quite a variety of edits and new things that is up-to-date for the Chapter 2: Season 1 update. This map contains beginner, intermediate, and advanced edit courses. That means that you can find something for all levels of skill when using this as your warm up before heading into the game. There's also aim training if you're looking for an all-in-one option.

Cook's Warm-Up Edit Course

This is a strong edit practice course for repetitive editing and warming up prior to jumping into games. There's about a million different walls set up and ready to be edited over and over to get your muscle memory worked out. Be sure to watch the video to see which edits you should be working on based on what section of the course you're on.

EGO-Hapec's Edit Course

This is a pretty straight-forward course with many different edits to go through. You can time yourself if you want to track your progress and see how you've improved!

Older Courses

These should all still work well for their stated purposes.

The Impossible Aim/Edit Course: Cnnr - Heavy Editing & Aim

The Impossible Aim/Edit Course went kind of viral on Twitter and we were eagerly awaiting the code and it is now finally available! This is a really great course for warming up, there's a lot of different movements and unique ways to edit and work on your aim. As always, we recommend watching the video below to get a sense of what you should be doing in each part of the course! This is a tough one, so don't be discouraged if you struggle through it a bit.

Warm Up Course (Advanced): Candook - Heavy Editing & Building

If you are looking for lots of editing and general building warm up than this is a great one for you. Tons of good edits that you can practice throughout the course, and you can work on your 90s and various movements to get high ground as quickly as possible. The one part of the warm up that is a bit lacking is any aim practice. There's a short bit of assault rifle bits to pop boxes, and a small part where you do jumping shotgun shots but nothing else. So, if you want to warm up your aim, you should try a different one.
